Quality you can trust.
What We Test For?
At Veritas Farms, we strongly value transparency and quality, and we know you do, too. That is why all of our products go through a rigorous quality control process, where they are tested multiple times to ensure the highest standards in the industry. We test for cannabinoid content, terpenes, and flavonoids in order to guarantee the potency of our formulas. Additionally, testing helps us ensure our products are free of heavy metals, microbial contaminants, mycotoxins, and residual solvents to provide you with clean and safe hemp products you can fully trust.
We encourage you to review our COAs and see why Veritas Farms is the most trusted manufacturer of hemp products in the industry.
Why Choose Veritas Farms?
We are extremely committed to providing you with the best hemp products you can find. That is why we employ sustainable farming methods and rigorous testing processes to give you and your family the quality and safety that you deserve.
Independent lab testing is necessary to ensure product quality and potency. All Veritas Farms products come with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) that correlates to the lot number on your product. We test our oil and products multiple times during the product life cycle using a third-party, ISO-certified laboratory. These COAs provide a detailed profile of each product, including cannabinoid and terpene content, as well as residual solvents, heavy metals, pesticides, and microbial contaminants.
Our products are formulated by a professional team of experts with years of experience in the creation of nutritional supplements, cosmetics, and pet products. Formulations are overseen by our Ph.D. Analytical Chemist and our Formulations Manager.
From sourcing to manufacturing, our production process is unlike any other in the hemp industry. We are involved in every step of our process to guarantee the purest, highest-quality hemp products for your wellness needs. We start by growing our hemp plants on our 140-acre sustainable farm in Pueblo, Colorado, where environmental conditions are ideal for hemp. At several points during the growing season, we test our plants to verify potency and compliance with all legal requirements for safe hemp production. This helps us keep track of every plant on our farm so that we can hand-harvest the best hemp for our products.
After harvest, we extract cannabinoids, terpenes, and other beneficial components found naturally in hemp to make our full spectrum hemp oil. (These components, along with CBD, combine to create an “entourage effect,” which delivers a more potent effect than CBD alone.) All of our hemp products then go through a full suite of analytical tests to ensure quality and safety.
Finally, our products are tested again after production to verify that each formula has met the most stringent quality standards for hemp products before it reaches your hands.
We use multiple independent and ISO-certified labs to perform analysis. All labs are ISO 17025:2017 accredited.
Each product is tested multiple times before it reaches you. Every plant is tested throughout the growing season to verify it is within regulations for industrial hemp, meaning it has less than 0.3% THC. Oils extracted from our hemp plants are then tested again before formulating a specific product. Finally, prior to release, every product is tested to verify safety and potency.
We definitely do! We grow peppers, tomatoes, squash, and other plants to enhance biodiversity, which helps improve soil quality and attract pollinator bugs. We also develop our own fertilizer to help balance out the local ecosystem and use drip irrigation to ensure that every plant gets the proper hydration without over-watering. This not only reduces soil erosion and runoff but reduces fuel usage. Furthermore, we use herd grazing animals to improve field soil fertility and organic matter. Our sustainable farming methods, along with perfect growing conditions provided by the location of our farm, help us produce the purest hemp-derived products available today.
How Does Integrated Pest Management Work?
To ensure clean and healthy hemp plants, we have incorporated a naturally integrated pest management (IPM) system that is 100% free of chemical pesticides and residue. We use praying mantises, ladybugs, nematodes, and bees to help us take care of pests like moths, caterpillars, deer, and aphids. We also use botanical oils, like essential terpenes in concentrate form, to deter mold and fungus.
